Another dream

I have been contemplating whether I should share the dream I had a few weeks ago??? I have decided to post it. I would love any feedback that you feel God would have you give. The Lord has already began to unfold it's meaning to me. So here goes!

January 25, 2012
I had a dream last night. In the dream we were at a lake, swimming hole?? I was watching from the bank, people were fishing and swimming. All of a sudden I seen Josh (our 4 year old) and a few others jump in the lake. I screamed at Mike who was in the water, I knew he couldn't swim. Mike swam over to him. I was running when Josh popped up in the water with another boy. I realized they had a life vest on. I told Mike I thought there was more. I asked him if he could see any other children. He looked and said no. I kept looking but didn't see any. I began walking back to where I was when I heard the Lord say to me, "go back there is one more." I ran back and was looking in the water. I seen a infant bundled up on the side. I jumped in and pulled him out.
He wasn't breathing I began screaming because I didn't know CPR. No one would come help me. I said, "God I don't know what to do?" Immediately the child began to spit out water. He then began to speak to me. He said, "what happened?" I remember thinking how can he speak to me in English he is foreign and he is a baby. A women next to me said he is not a baby he is a cripple and 8 years old. They threw him back because he was a cripple. I began to unwrap the child. At which point he said he needed to go to the bathroom. I set him on the pot and I remember thinking that if God saved him I was going to believe Him to heal him. About that time the little boy came running to me. I told him he needed to share with others what God had done for him. He went over to a man sitting down and said, "I was dirty and He washed me clean." I was surprised because I thought he would share about drowning or being healed.

Next scene. The girls were getting dressed in costumes for a play. They were trying to put a wig on him. He was not happy. About that time Mike showed up with the other boys. The little boy ran off to play with Mike and the boys.

The End

Please let me know if the Lord gives you anything to share about this dream.

A revelation

In my last post I mentioned that God has began to birth a new vision. Opening up a home for kids who have aged out of the foster care. While praying about this the other day the Lord began to open my eyes to what He was doing around me.

Most of you know that we adopted John and Kora's' biological mom Ashleigh. She is 29 years old. The same age as our son Michael. Anyway, what I haven't shared is that Ashleigh has been a addict from the time she was 13 years old. Both of her parents died of drug overdose. Her and her brother were both in foster care.

About 4 months ago the Lord had Kayla (18) and I fast for Kora. Kora had extreme behavior and emotional needs. After a week of fasting we felt the Lord say, "it was done." So we stood in faith believing and God did an amazing work. Kora was completely set free from a controlling spirit. Shortly there after God asked me a question. "Would you fast for Ashleigh?" The thought came to me if Kora is dealing with these spirits than Ashleigh is even more. At that time, Ashleigh, was completely lost. Living on the streets, living the life of a drug addict. The children had not seen her in 1 1/2 years. I began fasting and praying and within two days Ashleigh was in a car wreck and arrested.

We had been talking to Ashleigh about going to Teen Challenge. She new she was going to have to lay aside all her old ways, friends, ect. She had not been willing to do that. We told her that the only help we would give her was to help her get into Teen Challenge.

I received a phone call on Oct. 30th. Mom, will you get me into Teen Challenge? I knew God would have to move a mountain. And move a mountain He did! Ashleigh began Teen Challenge On Nov 17th. She has given her heart to the Lord and has been filled with the Spirit. Old things are passing away and ALL things are becoming new!

We also began visiting Ashleigh's brother Dillon who is in jail in our town. God has given us a voice into his life and that of his wife and daughters.

I recently was in contact with Joshua's biological mother as well . She herself was in foster care. So, I guess for now this is Gods way of showing me how we are impacting those whose lives have been spent in foster care as well as changing the future for their children.
